GLACIAL /PIEDMONT GLACIER

No es el deshielo de Alaska ni tampoco de los Montes Urales es un derretimiento volátil. Por la noche cuando se vive en un palomar el desleimiento es inflexible. Crujido de estructura, rechinar de pared, estruendo de tubería, borboteo del radiador, percusión de nevera. Se presienten témpanos atravesando mares. Un esquimal recorre la planicie, su visión del mundo es rotunda y pierde la noción del tiempo.

It is not the melting of Alaska

nor that one of the Ural Mountains

it is a volatile decrease.

At night

when you live in a birds house

the slaking is inflexible.

Crunching of structures,

grinding of walls,

rumble of pipe,

gurgling of radiator,

or the fridge percussion.

It is a presentiment of ice mass across seas.

An Eskimo crosses the plain,

his vision of the world is round

and he loses the notion of time.
